To become certified as a Food Manager in Texas, you must pass the state-approved exam with a score of 70% or higher. Our online exam is approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and includes two test attempts. Once you pass, you can immediately download your certificate from our website.

It is your choice whether to take both the Food Manager Program and the Food Manager Examination, or to just take the examination alone. The State of Texas does not require but strongly recommends those intending to take the Food Manager Exam to complete a Food Manager Program first.
